Anna Morochnik is the Exhibition Director of the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art from 2009 to 2014 and co-founder of the “Spasibo” studio.
We spoke about what a Biennale is and its meaning in Russian, which is different than an art fair. Why the Curator is the leading figure. and what are the most famous bienniales in the world?
