YOM HA'ATZMAUT WITH SHISHI SHABBAT YISRAELI

After a hard pandemic year full of restrictions, it was incredible to plunge into the world of "Shishi Shabbat Yisraeli" again, which, as always, presented new exciting acquaintances and meeting old friends. It was enjoyable to do this on Independence Day when the first steps towards liberation from the virus magically connected with the miracle of the appearance of the Jewish state on the world map 73 years ago.
The journey into the depths of the Hariton cave as part of the excursion was dirty, dusty, dark, and very narrow in places, so the long-awaited feeling of liberation when going outside was very rewarding! In Neve Daniel, together with hospitable Linda, Zeev and their beautiful children, a picnic, music, competitions and, as always, a great atmosphere was waiting for our two buses, including many lone soldiers.
I hope no more pandemics will prevent us from getting together!
