WOMEN AND THE HOLOCAUST: COURAGE AND MERCY, WITH STAS FRANKIN

05.04.2021

We met with Stas Frankin, guide of the Holocaust Museum, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Holocaust Victims and Resistance Heroes.

We spoke about the fate of Jewish women, from the 1930s to the end of the war, how women fought and tried to escape during the war, and why they hardly talked about their experiences.

A very touching meeting about the role of women during the Holocaust. About the strength and courage of women in an incredible and hellish situation where they lost their children, husbands, and families.

I learned several personal stories that touched my heart. Very few of these courageous women are still alive. Thanks to Stas for this meeting! #weremember
