HOSHANA RABA ALL-NIGHT STUDY FESTIVAL AND 10 YEAR CELEBRATION

Continuing a fantastic eight year tradition, our all-night study festival on Hoshana Raba featured excellent lecturers and attracted a full audience of young Russian-speaking Olim, this time in the beautiful Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem. This evening also marked 10 Years of Shishi Shabbat Yisraeli’s activities, building community and celebrating the bonds between Russian-speaking Olim, Israel, and the Jewish People.
Natalie Shnaiderman, our long-time partner from Genesis Philanthropy Group, opened the evening, followed by former Ambassador to Russia Gary Koren, and a series of lectures, art and music workshops on the theme bridging between communities of the Jewish people. We enjoyed refreshments in our Shishi Shabbat Yisraeli Sukkah, erected especially for the occasion, and finished with our traditional dawn walking tour to the Kotel.
