SLICHOT TOUR IN JERUSALEM
13.09.2021
We are all different, and everyone has their way of approaching Yom Kippur. But at least one thing unites all Jews (and people in general) – the need to stop and evaluate what we have done and what can be improved. Together with Pavel Bernshtein, we experienced the Yom Kippur atmosphere by walking through the religious areas of Jerusalem, plunging into the atmosphere of preparations for this day, seeing different forms of "kapparot".
We visited the Geula and Mea She'arim districts, saw the grave of the Ukrainian Admor buried in the center of Jerusalem, walked past the most fashionable shops, and discussed the revolutionary changes taking place in ultra-Orthodox communities in recent years.
