SALAD TRAIL AGRICULTURAL FARM

08.04.2022

During this fascinating tour of the Salad Trail Farm in Moshav Talmei Yosef, we learned about the "art" of growing fruits and vegetables in the Negev desert. We saw how three-meter cherry tomatoes grow and learned about specially trained bees from Kibbutz Yad Mordechai. We tasted Chinese oranges and extra red oranges, watched how strawberries are grown, learned why they are hung up, and picked various useful plants for making tea. We even released homing pigeons together! In addition, we heard the stories of residents in towns surrounding Gaza and even saw unusual art created from the remnants of rockets.

I learned a lot of new things! I never imagined how interesting it can be to analyze Pesach songs!
