FRIDAY-SHABBAT RETREAT #85 NEGEV AND EILAT

I have been in Israel only two and a half months and was so happy when a friend told me about this Shishi Shabbat Yisraeli seminar.
I could not believe all the good people I met and the beautiful places of israel that I saw over three days – no worries, just hiking in the Negev, sleeping on the “Spice Route” near a kibbutz with camels, sitting in a hot pool and playing games and singing with guitars at night. Shabbat in Eilat was magical. Singing and learning new things, discussing Jewish ethics and stories, and the beautiful beaches and relaxation. After the seminar I went to a holiday wine-tasting in Jerusalem with Shishi Shabbat. Now these events and good friends are more prominent in my life here and I am distracted from worries and sad thoughts.
