EMERGENCY UKRAINIAN/RUSSIAN OLIM ABSORPTION OPERATION

About 32,000 Olim have made their home in Israel in the first half of 2022, and our Volunteer Coordinators in Jerusalem and Haifa continue to match their personal needs to our young Russian-speaking volunteers. In June, Shishi Shabbat Yisraeli received a warm Letter of Appreciation from the Municipality of Jerusalem for its tireless volunteering efforts on behalf of the Olim, filling out documents, seeking medical insurance and care, schools, apartments, jobs, higher education, banking arrangements, donated items, Shabbat Host hospitality and so much more. New Olim in their 20’s and 30’s joined all of our enriching monthly activities below.
