Yards and nooks and crannies, wells and balconies, and graffiti on the walls. We saw everything this evening as our guide, Olga led us along roads that people rarely pass.
We talked about the ancient past of the area and its living, current present. Today we looked at Jaffa not only as a "former port", but as an area whose modern life, is not always calm and certainly different from life in the center of Tel Aviv!
We passed lanterns on dark streets, colored garlands against the backdrop of a mosque, and small street cafes filled with bright light. We had a great time together and got a wonderful impression from the tour.
