We continued with our engaging meetings in Haifa, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Beersheva, discussing Jewish values, holidays, and traditions through classical Jewish texts, literature, and the heritage of Eastern European Jewry. We deepened our acquaintance with the values and cultural codes of the Jewish tradition, through the significant days of the Jewish calendar. This month in honor of Tu B’Av we talked about love. What is the love of a father for his son, or a wife for her husband? Or love between a man and the Gods and vice versa? What are our associations with the word "love"? On the eve of Tu B'Av, we delved into one of the most complex and most romantic concepts, through the prism of Jewish literature of the Talmud and the Middle Ages.
