FESTIVE BHEI BRAK WALKING TOUR

During Sukkot we made a marvelous sightseeing tour in Bnei Brak - the most religious city in our area. Sukkot is an amazing week, where a "tent" "grows" in almost every yard, and the fun and family life from apartments moves to the streets and courtyards! Many manage to build a sukkah even on their balcony! Our guide told us why we build Sukkot at this time of the year, why we eat, drink, and sometimes even sleep in them, what all this has to do with a fruit that looks like a lemon (etrog) and why according to the Torah this is "the most cheerful holiday"! And of course we also managed to sit in a Sukka - to eat and to drink there, fulfilling the mitzva of the holiday!
It was really amazing to be in Bnei Brak during these happy days of the Sukkot holiday!
